Wisconsin Girls, 12, Stab Friend 19 Times in Planned Attack

(WAUKESHA, Wis.) -- Police say a pair of 12-year-old girls lured another girl into the woods in southeastern Wisconsin, where they stabbed her repeatedly on Saturday.

According to ABC's Chicago affiliate, WLS-TV, one of the two girls held the victim down while the other stabbed her 19 times. The victim survived the attack and is reportedly in stable condition.

A bicyclist discovered the wounded girl on Saturday morning. Police said the girls had lured their victim into the woods claiming they were going to play games.

The suspects were later spotted and taken into custody. Each of the girls has been charged with first-degree attempted homicide. The girls reportedly later admitted to their actions.
